Research Interests

  • Development of rodent brain vascular disease models including ischemia, hemorrhage, angiogenesis, and arteriovenous malformation

  • Development of cell based gene therapy for central nervous system using circulating endothelial progenitor cells

  • Study the cellular and molecular mechanisms of ischemic brain injury

  • Study the relationship between ischemic brain injury and blood brain barrier disruption and angiogenesis in the adult brain
